National University Bangladesh

National University Bangladesh is one the largest and parent university of Bangladesh. Almost 2254 Affiliated colleges are offering various type of higher education course including Bachelor and Masters. This university is located at Gazipur district near to Dhaka Mymensingh highway. NUB is was established in 1992 by an Act of Parliament as an affiliating University of the country to teach graduate and post-graduate level education to the students through its affiliated colleges and professional institutions throughout the country.

National University Bangladesh  is state owned and public university .It is a postgraduate teaching and research university as well as an affiliating university. The university has a school and a centre. It has established institutes that provide courses leading to MPhil and PhD degrees. At present, 20,89,909 student has been studying at NUB's associated college under guidance of 159,375 academic staffs and teachers including  Affiliated colleges. The university has postgraduates student is  334,653
