Bagerhat Govt Girls High School is a renowned girls’ educational institute in the District. It was started its journey in 1947. It is one of the famous institutes for female students. It is a Bangla medium best school in Bangladesh under Jashore education board. It was established as Nurul Amin School  After the liberation war, the previous name was removed and it holds its current name as Bagerhat Government Secondary School.
